Sustainability at Macha's Orchard isn't a marketing claim — it's built into how we work. From the energy systems we use to the way we handle every part of the apple, our commitment to low environmental impact runs through the whole operation.

We use bespoke closed-loop heat pump dehydrators to process our apple powder. These systems are specifically chosen for their energy efficiency — they recover and reuse heat rather than venting it, dramatically cutting energy consumption compared to conventional dryers.

The result is a gentle, low-carbon process that preserves the nutritional value of the apple while keeping our environmental footprint as small as possible.

Zero Waste — Every Part of the Apple

Our apple powder is made from the peel and cores of Armagh Bramley apples — the parts that would ordinarily be discarded. By turning these into a nutritious food product, we ensure the entire apple is used and nothing goes to landfill.

Every Bramley that comes through our facility is fully utilised. Less food waste, more value from the same harvest.

100% Natural — No Additives

Our products contain only what's on the label. Macha's Bramley Apple Powder is made from 100% Armagh Bramley apples — no preservatives, no additives, nothing artificial.

The Armagh Bramley is remarkable on its own. Our job is to preserve that — not interfere with it.
