Quick answers to common questions about our heritage Bramley apple products, delivery throughout Northern Ireland, and our community enterprise mission.

Products

What is apple powder and how is it made?

Apple powder is made by gently drying Armagh Bramley apples and grinding them into a fine powder. Our process preserves the natural nutrients, pectin, and fiber. We use no additives, preservatives, or added sugar - just 100% pure Bramley apples.

Is your apple powder 100% natural with no additives?

Yes, our apple powder is 100% natural with absolutely no additives, preservatives, colors, or added sugars. It's made from heritage Armagh Bramley apples grown in our Portadown orchard. What you see is what you get - pure apple goodness.

What's the difference between your apple powder and fresh apples?

Apple powder is concentrated - one tablespoon equals about one apple. It's shelf-stable, versatile for cooking and baking, and packed with natural pectin and fiber. Fresh apples are great, but powder offers convenience and concentrated nutrition without refrigeration.

How should I store apple powder?

Store apple powder in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Keep the container tightly sealed to prevent moisture absorption. Properly stored, it will maintain quality for 12 months. No refrigeration needed, making it perfect for pantry storage.

Is your apple cider vinegar raw and unpasteurized?

Yes, our apple cider vinegar is raw, unpasteurized, and contains "the mother" - beneficial bacteria and enzymes. Made from Armagh Bramley apples using traditional fermentation methods. The cloudy appearance is natural and indicates quality, living vinegar.

Using Our Products

How much apple powder should I use daily?

Start with 1-2 tablespoons daily mixed in smoothies, yogurt, or oatmeal. Each tablespoon provides the equivalent nutrition of one apple. You can adjust based on taste preferences. It's food, not a supplement, so listen to your body.

Can I bake with apple powder?

Absolutely! Apple powder adds moisture, natural sweetness, and apple flavor to baked goods. Use it in muffins, cakes, pancakes, and bread. Replace up to 25% of flour with apple powder, or add 2-3 tablespoons per recipe for extra nutrition.

How do I incorporate apple cider vinegar into my routine?

Mix 1-2 tablespoons in a glass of water and drink before meals. Start with one tablespoon daily and increase gradually. Use it in salad dressings, marinades, or as a natural preservative. Always dilute - never drink undiluted vinegar.

Are your products suitable for children?

Yes, our products are natural foods suitable for children. Apple powder is excellent mixed in smoothies or yogurt. For apple cider vinegar, dilute well and start with small amounts for children over 5. Always consult your pediatrician for specific dietary questions.
